The former Deputy Senate president, Ibrahim Mantu is dead.
Mantu represented Plateau Central Senatorial District while in the Senate between 1999-2007.
Born in 1947, Mantu, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party Party (PDP), reportedly died in the early hours of Tuesday.
