Italian first choice goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma is set to undergo a medical examination ahead of completing his switch from Juventus to Paris Saint-Germain.
Donnarumma will be heading to PSG, as a free agent as his contract with Juventus expires at the end of the 2020/2021 season.
22-year-old Donnarumma who became AC Milan’s undisputed number one at the tender age of 16, is regarded as one of the finest goalkeepers in world football and is set to challenge 34-year old Costa Rican Keylor Navas for the number one shirt in Paris.
Snapping up Donnarumma on a free is widely regarded as a transfer coup for PSG, which will bolster PSG’s dream of winning the Champions League. Joining Georginio Wijnaldum who earlier signed as a free agent, after running down his contract with Liverpool.
According to footage from Tuttomercatoweb on Monday, Donnarumma is shown leaving Italy’s team hotel, into a mini-van, en route to the medical facility to commence his medicals.
According to reports, Donnarumma is set to earn a mouth-watering €200,000 per week, as his deal with Juventus officially ends on the 30th of June.
