A Non Governmental Organization (NGO), Zoe’s Flower Foundation has held it’s third monthly free skill acquisition in animation for youths.
The project manager Raphael Duru explained that the scheme tagged “Empowerment for All” which is aimed at alleviating poverty is also set to empower youths with mordern information and technology skills to help them create value for themselves and the society.
He noted that knowledge acquisition has become more expensive now than at anytime while adding that the organization is in partnership with many experts in various fields to achieve the desired impact.
Creative director, World ofexplaner.com, Joshua Oluwagbemiga pointed out that there is deficiency in the Nigerian animation industry which according to him is a motivating factor for his company to ensure the expansion of the industry where animators can tell the Nigerian story using local content.
Participates at the program expressed satisfaction for the training as they showed interest to learn more in 3D illustration. (NAN)
