Telecom consumers can lodge complaints with the Nigeria Communications Commission, NCC only after complaining to their service providers, NCC Boss, Prof. Umar Danbatta has said.
Danbatta said consumers can make this complaints through its centre toll free number, 622.
He said “the first point of call for a telecom consumer who makes a complain should go first to the mobile operators and when a consumer is dissatisfied with the manner in which the complain is handled, then the complain can be communicated through our toll free number, 622.”
Danbatta stated that the idea is that “consumers are satisfied, not just for the quality of service delivery through the various channels of communications but to endure that consumers get value for their money.”
He further assured consumers that NCC is always ready to protect and empower them.
