No fewer than 1,101,827 Nigerians have been vaccinated with the first dose in the first phase of the COVID-19 vaccination as at Monday 19th April, 2021, NewsSpecng learnt.
According to the latest data from the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), 11 states are yet to reach the 50 per cent target mark for the rollout of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine in the country.
The proportion of those vaccinated currently is 54.8 per cent. The breakdown of the 11 states reveals:Abia (31.8), Akwa Ibom (36.5), Anambra (28.2), Bayelsa (48.3), Ebonyi (38.8), Enugu (37.7), FCT (44.9), Imo (48.3), Rivers (38.7), Sokoto (34.5), Taraba (31.9).
