The media fraternity in Nigeria has lost one of its own, Mr Emma Ugoji.

His colleague in NAN then, Alhaji D U Ahmed, described Ugoji’s death as a rude shock and most unbelievable.
“We joined NAN in 1992 as young reporters and rose through the ranks to higher posts until he left the agency some years back.
“He was a very intelligent, resourceful and jovial colleague who also had many other positive attributes that endeared him to many of us in the agency, then and even up to his death.
“We will sorely and surely miss Emma Ugoji.
“May Almighty God grant his soul eternal rest and his family, the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” he told The Reporters, an online publication in Lokoja.
Another colleague of Ugoji in the agency then, Mr E. Asuquo, who spoke from Calabar, also described the tragic end of this amazing personality as devastating.
“What is really happening,” he asked
