Two suspected kidnappers have been killed by police attached to FCT Police Commaand.
The two who were killed on Sunday are believed to be members of kidnapping terrorizing communities in Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
They were killed during gunfire exchange with operatives of the FCT Police, a security source told NewsSpecng.
Police source said the two kidnappers died from injuries after being taken to the hospital for treatment while the Command has launched a manhunt to arrest the fleeing suspects.
The kidnappers were said to have stormed a Naharati, a remote village in Abaji, raided the community, and were about to abduct some residents, before their attack was thwarted by the Police on swift distress call.
