The mother of the Ex-spokesperson to the former Vice President of Nigeria, Hajiya Barira (Balaraba) Umar is dead.
Hajiya Umar mother of Mr. Sani Umar, the media aide to former Vice President Namandi Sambo died on 6th January 2021 at the age of 93.
Her passing away was announced through a press statement signed by Mr. Umar .
Until her death, mama was a community leader, an entrepreneur and a philanthropist.
Hajiya Umar is survived by Umar Sani and four grandchildren.
Umar prays that Allah (SWT) forgive her trespasses and bless her with Aljannah firdaus.
The statement reads: “Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. It is with grief and sorrow that I announce the passing away of my mother Hajiya Barira( Balaraba)Umar who passed on to the great beyond this morning. The late Hajiya Barira ( Balaraba) was a community leader, an entrepreneur and a philanthropist. She was aged 93. She is survived by me and four grandchildren.
The late Barira ( Balaraba) Umar will be sorely missed by her community.
May Allah (SWT) forgive her trespasses and bless her with Aljannah firdaus.”
