The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila and PDP former Chairman, Sen. Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi have expressed sadness over the passing away of Malam Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa.
The Speaker, who described the late Balarabe Musa as a dogged democrat, said he would be remembered for always standing for democracy.
He said the late politician was one Nigerian who could be described as highly patriotic in his dealings.
Also, Senator Makarfi though saddened by this heavy loss, derives consolation from the fact that Mallam Balarabe Musa lived a good life in the service of God and humanity.
“An epitome of simplicity and honesty, Mallam Balarabe Musa lived all his life in relentless pursuit of a better life for the poor and oppressed,” he said
Gbajabiamila and Makarfi commiserated with the government and people of Kaduna State over the loss.
While praying for the repose of the soul of the late Balarabe Musa, both prayed the Almighty to give his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
