President Muhammadu Buhari has warned the international community against making hasty pronouncement on issues in Nigeria.
It would be recalled that the international community had caution the government against clamping down on the protesters, while also urging the government to address the issues raised.
But, Buhari on Thursday in his nationwide address urged the international community to always fact check before taking position.
He said, “To our neighbours in particular, and members of the international community, many of whom have expressed concern about the ongoing development in Nigeria, we thank you and urge you all to seek to know all the facts available before taking a position or rushing to judgment and making hasty pronouncements.”
