EndSARS protesters block Kuje, Airport road

Activities in some areas of the nation’s capital was disrupted Monday morning as EndSARS protesters continued their call for an end to police brutality and bad government.

The protesters who trooped out in their numbers in Kuje, one of the six Councils of FCT did not only asked for an end to police brutality but also asked for a better welfare package for police officers.

Not even claims by the government that their request are been addressed was enough to assuage the youths who blocked the Kuje road leading to the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua expressway.

The protesters also blocked the Airport road, preventing motorists from the right of way. Several people have been prevented from going to their place work. Commercial vehicles going to the city center could not go through.

The EndSARS protests which have been going on for more than a week seems not to be ending soon as it is spreading gradually across the country.
