The Ministry of Health has launched Nigeria’s Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, Adolescent and Elderly Health Plus Nutrition (RMNCAEH+N) Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Coordination Platform in Abuja.
Speaking at the Presidential Task Force Briefing on Monday, 12th October, 2020, the Minister of State for Health, Olorunimbe Mamora said the platform is to harness the relative strength of diverse stakeholders opportunities to leverage resources towards maximizing of outcomes and attainment of shared visions for Nigerians.
Mamora explained that the platform is particularly important as the issues concern women, children, adolescents and the elderly.
He said that the Ministry is delighted to note the commitment of traditional rulers and royal leaders to issues concerning women, children and the vulnerable as the Ministry will continue to count on their supports.
He also explained that the Covid-19 pandemic is not over yet and “we must count it as a duty to ensure that we protect ourselves and protect others”.
